ArcheAge Chronicles is on Windows PC through Steam only. Steam does not list PS5, Xbox, Mac or Linux, and no console release date has been given. In 2024 XLGAMES said consoles were planned, but the 2026 Early Access launch is PC only.
What Steam lists today
The Steam store page shows Windows as the only platform. Mac and Linux are not listed. The game is developed and published on Steam by XLGAMES. The platform list as of November 2, 2026:

PS5 and Xbox
The PlayStation Blog posted about the game on September 24, 2024, under the title “ArcheAge Chronicles: new gameplay details on the online PS5 action RPG coming 2025.” In that post, Executive Producer Yongjin Ham said the game would come to PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, Epic Games Store and Steam.
No 2026 Steam news post gives a console date, and the 2026 Steam listing is Windows only. Until it does, treat PS5 and Xbox as unconfirmed. We will update this page the moment XLGAMES says anything new.
Steam Deck
Valve has not published a Steam Deck compatibility rating on the store page. So there is no official Verified, Playable or Unsupported label. Two things matter here:
- The minimum spec asks for a Windows 10 64-bit PC with 16 GB RAM and a GPU in the RTX 2060 SUPER class. See system requirements.
- 100 GB of SSD space is required.
A sensible approach is to wait for a Valve rating or a post-launch report before buying only for Deck play. We will link to creator videos and player reports on Steam Deck once they appear.
Controllers
The October 29 producer letter mentions camera Y-axis inversion with separate settings for mouse and controller, so controller input exists in the game. XLGAMES has not published a full controller layout guide.
Crossplay and accounts
Because the game is PC only, there is no console crossplay question yet. XLGAMES has not published anything about platform-linked accounts.
Languages
Steam lists English, Korean with full audio, Simplified Chinese and Traditional Chinese. XLGAMES announced on 11-03 that machine-translated Japanese and Brazilian Portuguese are being added. They are not officially supported and some terms may sound unnatural. Switch language under Options > General > Language.
Steam Family Sharing
Steam Family Sharing is not supported. XLGAMES says account sharing could affect account management and the in-game economy (official notice).
